This Saturday the Jackson School Community and Poynter Community groups will gather for a Christmas party. We will meet at 5:30pm at the church building. We will share a meal, wear ugly Christmas sweaters, exchange white elephant gifts, and decorate cookies for dessert.
Regarding the white elephant gift exchange, this is truly a white elephant gag gift. There will be a prize for the cleverest/silliest gift. Feel free to bring a gift per person or per couple. We will also have a Christmas movie for the kids.
Here's what we need for the meal and we really appreciate gluten/dairy free options when possible:
- ham and/or rotisserie chicken
- mashed or scalloped potatoes
- salad
- rolls
- wine
- sparkling cider
- sugar cookies, frosting and sprinkles for decorating
- other favorite holiday side dishes
